The Power of Suggestion

Why don’t you start a blog? That’s the sentence that started this. It came out of my mother’s mouth as she tried to find something that would entertain me for the summer months. And here we are.

My name is Jane; it’s my middle name. My first name is Taylor, but I don’t look like a Taylor, or a TJ so my name is Jane. I am 18 years old, which means I’m part of a generation that is over stimulated, addicted to over sharing and constantly over plugged. So maybe it was just a matter of time before I started a blog. A public arena where thoughts and feelings are projected out into the universe for complete strangers to read, digest, regurgitate and tear apart.

The main point of this blog is to talk about knitting. I love talking about knitting and I would love other people to talk about it with me. There is nothing more satisfying than a sweater well knitted. I have been knitting since childhood and knitting well since my teens. I currently have two sweaters and a cowl cast onto my needles. Since knitting is a hobby that lets you multi-task, I also like to talk about current events, sub par television, the weather, food, animals, celebrities doing stupid things, celebrities doing good things and whatever else happens to cross my path.
